Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
IPL is a light based treatment designed to improve the appearance of photoaged skin by removing age spots, most benign brown pigments, capillaries and rosacea. IPL can also be used with topical Levulan to maximize the photo rejuvenation effects of the treatment and the removal of actinic keratosis (pre-cancerous sun spots). For best results, a package of three is recommended.

The state of the art Candela V-Beam Perfecta vascular laser is the gold standard for the treatment of superficial vascular lesions of the skin. It can be used to treat prominent blood vessels on the face from rosacea or to treat background redness of the face, chest, and neck. It is also the most effective non-invasive treatment for vascular growths on the skin, such as cherry angiomas (bright red bumps that grow on the skin) and port wine stains, a type of vascular birth mark.

Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)
PDT used with topical Levulan is widely used to treat pre-cancerous sun-damage, but it has also shown to have rejuvenating effects on sun damaged skin. PDT can also be used with or without Levulan for the treatment of mild to moderate acne for patients not interested in using oral antibiotics.
