Sean Hughes is a certified physician assistant with more than a decade of dermatology experience. Since 2018, he has worked under the guidance of Dr. Armand Cognetta at Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee, specializing in Mohs surgery and the treatment of skin cancer. Sean earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and completed his physician assistant training at Barry University in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is committed to delivering expert, compassionate care to patients.
Taylor Steed, M.M.S., PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants who specializes in skin cancer surgery and clinical dermatology under the supervision of Arianne Chavez, MD, FAAD. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatological Physician Assistants.
Taylor was born in Charleston, South Carolina, and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Health from the University of North Florida. She graduated magna cum laude from Nova Southeastern University—Jacksonville, where she received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies in 2018 and was inaugurated into the Alpha Eta Honor Society. She had two rotations in clinical and surgical dermatology during her final year in her Physician Assistant program.
In her leisure time, she enjoys drawing, surfing, archery, video games, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Kayleigh is a Jacksonville native and returned home after completing her schooling to serve the community in which she grew up. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, walking her two pups, Gauge and Remy, and spending time with her family, fishing, and diving.
Kayleigh is passionate about dermatology, particularly in educating patients on preventative practices and various skin conditions. She enjoys treating conditions like acne, psoriasis, eczema, and rosacea. She enjoys partnering with patients to find customized treatment plans and preventative lifestyle changes.
Kendall Wells PA-C was born and raised in Elkridge, Maryland. She joined Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee in 2023 after graduating with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University. Kendall is a board-certified Physician Assistant who specializes in general dermatology. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wingate University. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She has completed the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants Diplomate Fellowship program. In her spare time, Kendall enjoys traveling, running, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Tristan Hasbargen received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and went on to receive his Master of Medical Science at Nova Southeastern University PA program. He has been practicing at Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee since 2012, and has 14+ years of experience. While his main interest is working in the clinical setting, he enjoys teaching students and maintains a clerkship faculty at the Florida State University PA program, where he has given various dermatologic lectures and preceptorships.
He holds the highest distinction of “Diplomate Fellow” within the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA). He is an active member of the Florida Society of Dermatology PA’s (FSDPA). He is an advisory member for Journal of Dermatology Nurse Practioners and Physician Assistants (JDNPPA) and Special Section Assistant Editor for Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology (JCAD). He is an Advisory Board member for MJH Lifesciences and has contributed to Dermatology Times. In the past, he has collaborated and held positions with Diversity In Dermatology Organization and Dermsquared.
He has been published in the Dermatologist and JDNPPA. Tristan is passionate about detecting, treating, and managing skin cancers, treating and managing Atopic Dermatitis, Psoriasis, Hidradenitis Suppurativa, Alopecia Areata, and other inflammatory dermatologic conditions.
Millie Nowak, PA-C joined our practice in 2023. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Louisiana State University, a Master of Science in Nutrition from the University of Kentucky, and was a Clinical Dietitian prior to becoming a PA. She earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Practice from Florida State University. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Millie was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, exercising, cooking, and doing arts and crafts.
Jessica Sander, PA-C, was born and raised in Miami. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University. Prior to Physician Assistant school, she acquired experience as a Medical Assistant at Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee, working with Dr. Inglese. This is when she discovered her interest in Dermatology.
Jessica attended PA school at South University in Tampa, FL. During her graduate studies, she focused on dermatology and completed her elective clinical rotation in Cutaneous Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center.
Jessica was honored and excited to rejoin the Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee family as a PA in 2020. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Physician Assistants.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys taking spin classes, spending time with her dog Oliver and enjoying the Florida lifestyle being by the water.
