Dr. Weatherall received her bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Florida and her medical degree with academic and research honors from the University of Florida College of Medicine. While in medical school, she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and graduated near the top of her class.
She then did her internal medicine internship and completed a dermatology residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center, and the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, which is one of the top cancer centers in the nation. During her final year, she served as chief dermatology resident.
Dr. Weatherall is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a member of the Florida Academy of Dermatology. She has edited a book chapter on dermatologic medications and co-authored several articles in peer reviewed journals, including a cover review article for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has been recognized every year since 2017 by Castle Connolly Top Doctors® in South Florida.
Furthermore, she is a Clinical Affiliate Associate Professor of Dermatology in the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University and enjoys teaching medical students and internal medicine residents. She also serves as the clinical faculty advisor for the medical student dermatology interest group.
Dr. Weatherall grew up locally in South Florida and, in her free tim,e enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
She is excited to join and bring Dermatology Southeast to our community and to continue to provide the highest quality care with the utmost compassion to her patients.
Dr. Miller is originally from Georgia and earned his undergraduate degree from Berry College before receiving his medical degree from Mercer University. He completed his internship at Baylor University and his dermatology residency at the University of Central Florida, where he primarily trained at Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee.
Dr. Miller received additional fellowship training in research and remains actively involved in research and clinical trials, contributing to studies that have advanced the understanding and treatment of various dermatologic conditions. His work has appeared in medical journals, book chapters, and other academic outlets, and he has shared his findings at both national and international conferences.
Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Miller has been honored with awards and recognitions for both achievement and service. He remains passionate about education and mentorship, working closely with pre-med and medical students, and will be serving as dermatology faculty at both the University of Central Florida and Florida State University.
Sean Hughes is a certified physician assistant with more than a decade of dermatology experience. Since 2018, he has worked under the guidance of Dr. Armand Cognetta at Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee, specializing in Mohs surgery and the treatment of skin cancer. Sean earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and completed his physician assistant training at Barry University in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is committed to delivering expert, compassionate care to patients.
Dr. Imara-Safi O. Scott joined Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee in January 2025. Dr. Scott serves our Tallahassee patients and is a Core Faculty member of our University of Central Florida Dermatology Residency Program.
Dr. Scott is a board-certified dermatologist with the American Board of Dermatology. She completed her medical degree in 2018 at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), followed by an Internal Medicine residency year at UTHSC and Dermatology residency at Duke University, where she also served as the Diversity and Community Engagement resident.
Dr. Scott is passionate about providing comprehensive dermatologic care to diverse populations, with a special interest in addressing healthcare disparities and improving access to dermatology in underserved communities. She has published in peer-reviewed journals on topics ranging from contact dermatitis to cutaneous autoimmune disease, and has presented at regional and national Dermatology meetings.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Scott enjoys exploring Tallahassee with her husband and two young sons.
Taylor Steed, M.M.S., PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants who specializes in skin cancer surgery and clinical dermatology under the supervision of Arianne Chavez, MD, FAAD. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatological Physician Assistants.
Taylor was born in Charleston, South Carolina, and grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Health from the University of North Florida. She graduated magna cum laude from Nova Southeastern University—Jacksonville, where she received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies in 2018 and was inaugurated into the Alpha Eta Honor Society. She had two rotations in clinical and surgical dermatology during her final year in her Physician Assistant program.
In her leisure time, she enjoys drawing, surfing, archery, video games, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
Sierra Larsen is a board-certified Physician Assistant who joined Dermatology Southeast in January of 2023. She was raised in the St. Johns, Florida area and is happy to be providing care for the community where she grew up. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Child Sciences at Florida State University. She then spent a year working with Dr. Chavez as a DRAPS student before returning to Florida State University to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
As a provider, her goal is to provide comprehensive dermatological care. She contributes to all aspects of patient care, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She is currently with the Florida Board of Medicine and holds a certification from the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. She is an active member of the Florida Medical Association.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, Largo. They enjoy spending time outside and on the water.
